Insurance and Payment

Renovare accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Illinois Medicaid, along with many commercial and managed-care plans.

Coverage depends on your individual plan and the service being provided.

Insurance verification can help identify available benefits, but it does not guarantee that your health plan will pay for a particular service.

If you have questions about coverage before scheduling, contact our office.

New Behavioral Health Patients

Your first behavioral-health appointment focuses on understanding what you are experiencing rather than simply selecting a medication.

Depending on your needs, your provider may review symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, medications, previous treatment, sleep, substance use, daily functioning, and treatment goals.

You do not need to know your diagnosis before scheduling.

Medication and Prescription Expectations

An appointment with Renovare does not guarantee a prescription or a particular medication.

Medication decisions are based on clinical evaluation, safety, medical history, current medications, previous treatment, and applicable prescribing requirements.

If you are transferring medication care from another clinician, please bring or request relevant treatment records when possible.

A medication previously prescribed elsewhere is not automatically continued, and controlled medications may require additional records, monitoring, testing, reliable vital signs, or an in-person assessment.

Advanced Treatment Consultations

Patients interested in SPRAVATO®, ketamine therapy, or GeneSight® testing begin with an evaluation.

Requesting one of these services does not automatically establish eligibility or mean treatment or testing will be recommended.

Your provider will review your history and determine whether the requested service or another treatment approach may be appropriate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a diagnosis before scheduling?

No. You can request an appointment based on the symptoms or health concerns you are experiencing.

Can my first appointment be through telehealth?

Many services may begin virtually when clinically appropriate. Some concerns require an office or other in-person assessment.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Bring identification, insurance information, a current medication list, and relevant medical or treatment records when available.

Can Renovare continue medication from my previous provider?

Possibly, but continuation is not automatic. Your Renovare provider will independently review your treatment and determine whether it remains appropriate.
